Lily (28 of 52)
Hello my friends,
The family and I went to Lost Pines Hyatt Resort last week for a mini-vacation. We had a blast. There was a water pond outside the room and my little ones wanted to look for fairies there. Here is one that I took that morning. I call it "Lily".
Nice shot, but where are the fairies? Oh, I think I see several of them in the bokeh.
Did you try darkening the out-of-focus background to make it a little less powerful? For me it detracts from the foreground detail. Just nitpicking again. 8=)
Lovely composition the kids would probably like the shot for a back drop for their dolls. I'll 2nd Big Owl a little bit of vinngiet and a little boost in the saturation would really make it pop even more
@BigOwl and Rich: I had the same thought about vignetting the background more. I already darken it some, but when I did it more, it gave the photo an artificial feel. So I only darken it a little. Thanks for the comments. AP
