Harpers Ferry (30 of 52)

Hello My Friends,

This past week I had an opportunity to visit Harpers Ferry in West Virginia.  Talk about a town full of history.  I didn't have much time, only spent about 45mins looking around.  It's a very neat place, I will definetly try to go again.

The town itself was pretty busy with tourists (including myself).
By shear luck, the street was empty during this shoot.

  1. Good shot. I like the low angle and that everything is in focus. Amazing that there are no people! It looks like a deserted town.

  2. @Photeclectia: Thanks. I used a Joby tripod, its small (very short) and very portable. I just got lucky in regards to no people in the frame. The funny thing is I could see it coming. This group of people went one way, this other went the other and bam nobody around. I panicked a little, I was like wow, get setup, hurry..hurry. I could see a group coming on the right side of the frame, I think they even slowed down for me. It just worked out.
